A hat-trick for FAIRYTALE FLOWERS®

Gartneriet PKM A/S has really been digging Gold at the international nursery stock trade fair Plantarium, which takes place from 25-28 august in Boskoop, The Netherlands.

Winning a Gold medal for the Campanula-novelty THE CROWNPRINCESS' BELLFLOWER® White; winning the nomination for the best stand in the category Trade and also winning the Press Award for the Campanula THE CROWNPRINCESS' BELLFLOWER® WHITE and BLUE.

The international press jury was formed by journalists from trade and consumer magazines from Belgium, Czech republic, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Germany, The Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.

The judgment for the novelties is carried out by the Royal Boskoop Horticulture Society. They awarded the Campanula THE CROWNPRINCESS' BELLFLOWER® White with a Gold medal and commented that this plant was “compact and rich flowering, compared to the plant size. The flowers seem very large, handsome foliage and exceptionally good quality of plants”.

 
 

 

The VKC jury, judging the stand were impressed by the Danish presentation. They decided that this stand was the winner in the category Trade and awarded it with a Gold medal.

They commented: “The stand was clearly aiming on garden centres and DIY’s and also showed that the export products were of a very high quality, amongst them the pyramidal shaped THE CROWNPRINCESS' BELLFLOWER® White".

- "The attention the company pays to sustainability also was part of the presentation. The many possibilities of application for the plants were optimally used in this stand of high quality”.

Surprised and happy grower
