FAIRYTALE FLOWERS® builds the Chinese Wall in 'Lotze's Garden'

Every year we have a Flower Festival in Odense and for years FAIRYTALE FLOWERS® has been responsible for the decoration of 'Lotze's Garden' by the Hans Christian Andersen Museum in Odense.

The theme for the Flower Festival in 2010 is 'China's Cultural Treasures' because Odense has a pavilion at EXPO 2010 in Shanghai. And we think that we got a bright idea: WE BUILD THE CHINESE WALL WITH FLOWERS!!!

And so we did. First we bought some bricks and tested various solutions. Actually the ducks in 'Lotze's Garden' are a problem because they love to eat Campanula, probably because the Campanula contains a milky sap.

So both we and the ducks are looking forward to a feast every year in August. The ducks rip off the lower flowers on the big beautiful swan, who is reflected in the lake as written in the fairytale of 'The Ugly Duckling'.
